henriette Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 I have finally finished sending/giving christmas cards and wanted to post one to all the omleteers, by kind permission of our cockerel Henri. I sincerely hope that everyone feels a little happiness this Christmas. I know that many people find this time of year lonely and frustrating, while others are able to celebrate with friends and loved ones. Whatever the situation, from what I have learnt since I have been participating in this forum, there are many, many people on here who are genuinely concerned about others and this, I am sure, will be greatly appreciated by anyone who might be feeling sad. I end this year on a much higher note than last year, Ive made contact with a cousin I didn't know existed thanks to genes reuntited and we are great friends, step children are both driving, MIL sadly passed away but at 80 & with lots of strokes she had lived her time & this year we can all enjoy christmas without worry. I know from personal experience that it is a difficult time of year for many, especially those who have lost someone dear to them this year, or whose loved ones are far away, and I would like to send them love. and the hope that the bright festival in the middle of a dark winter will bring them some warmth and cheer.
