jjmack Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 Is missing us out totally, there is a heavy frost on ground and the odd flurry but not sticking. How come there is a hole in the cloud straight above us - B'ham, Macclesfiled, Tamworth (I was there when it started and was really excited but that stopped as i was dfriving back home and there was nothing on the gound ) and Wales all have had some and we haven't! Met Office website says we can expect it heavy tonight and has put my area down as 80% certainty of severe weather warning. My children's school has already emailed all parents today to say school will open tomorrow but must listen to local radio should the expected weather cause school closures........ I played golf this morning on ground that was like concrete. It was quite fun as the ball would go any which way once it bounced. My DD thought it looked like 'sad snow' We are off to Bluewater tonight to watch Avatar - tickets already booked and paid for. Bit worried that it might snow when we're in there!
