jimnpaula
As a qualified medical professional who has just (finally!) got back from her ambulance shift I would just like to repeat everyone's recommendation that you get your shoulder checked, especially if it is still very painful to move tomorrow - pain on movement=something wrong, and you don't want to sit around with a dislocated/fractured shoulder.... Anyway: Weleda Arnica Dosage Adults - 2 tablets Children - 1 tablet For acute cases, I dose every 2 hours for up to 6 doses Less acute cases, 1 dose 3 times a day between meals until the condition improves. Weleda Arnica How to Take Homeopathic remedies should always be taken on a clean palate, at least 15-30 minutes before or after eating or drinking. Never handle homeopathic remedies directly as this may reduce their effectiveness. Ensure that your mouth is free from strongly flavoured substances such as coffee, tobacco and mint. ...and hope you feel better in the morning Paula
Cooks
thanks for that, I will start popping them then. That would depend on whether it was fully or partially dislocated and on your pain threshold - Claret didn't and my g/daughter Lauren doesn't. Best to get it checked out. Cooks
I scream if I move but otherwise it's just a bad ache... but still hurts more than my foot ever did... not a good thought eh?? jimnpaula
When my dad dislocated his shoulder he was just rather uncomfortable and miserable, and obviously I've seen other patients who were quite tolerant of the pain, but anyway, you know how bad you feel - however, if you get numbness or tingling in your arm get help straight away. I have kids in bed now, I cant go til the morning. have you got anyone who could look after the kids so you could go and get it checked out? I just did the NHS direct self help thing and it says you should get it looked at immediately if Are you: suddenly finding you are completely unable to move your limb/limbs, and that you are also: suddenly experiencing continuous numbness, tingling or pins and needles in your limbs?
