Groovychook Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 We had a weird mixture of weather yesterday... huge changes in temperature- bright sunshine one minute and hail/ sleet/ rain the next. The wind picked up in the evening & it's been blowing a gale ever since. Same selection of weather as yesterday So sorry for all of you with the dreaded snow again... Blackrocksrock Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 Sounds awful but wet and windy sounds good up here as we have blizzards and blowing and snow up the door this morning - needed to go out back door and round front to clear it off - its not stopped all day so far and roads closed etc and awful - hopefully its the last stand of the winter eh! The girls are being very noisy as are the cows (which doesn't help with the girls because they've been whingeing at the noise) and now a pheasant is squawking in the woods - cue more bokking. ali-s Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 The wind is getting very scary and I am getting very concerend. I phoned Andy at work and he is coming home now. Looked out of the porch window towards the far end of the house, I can see things scattered all over the garden, things that were safely away in one of the sheds. I don't know if the door has somehow opened or if the shed is still standing, I am not attempting to go outside. After a cold night is dawned really beautiful, clear blue sky and sunshine, with a really keen cold wind though. We now have hazy sunshine and cloud.
