Snowy
Ruby seems to be a grand master of snoozing and likes to try every possible place. She even tried this the other day and managed a full hours snooze before deciding that the settee seat was probably a better bet: Even then, it couldn't be the right way up, it had to be upside down Where do your animals choose to sleep? The Dogmother
Ruby has a big cushion on the living room floor, and she loves to flop on that... usually upside down as well. I have some photos at home, which i'll post later.

Ain't Nobody Here
Riley has his own armchair . He also likes making nests on our beds .
Laura & CTB
Those are great photos Cathy. Spit the cat likes to sleep just outside the bedroom door -dual purpose, one he keeps me awake half the night with his snoring and two he can trip me up in the morning when I'm on my way to the bathroom
coco
Rosie and Tyson the cats sleep wherever they like. The dogs have to stay on the floor although Keira has tried getting on the bed with me. Buzz used to sleep on the sofa when he thought we weren't looking. He's too old now and spends most of his time in his bed.
Space Chick
Henry has a basket downstairs with a cushion in it. I say in it. We have routine, Henry pulls the cushion out of the basket and places it wherever he decides to sleep that particular moment and then when he's done, I put it back in his basket At bedtime, he sleeps on a dog orthopaedic mattress under my bed Thomas sleeps wherever he wants to..... window sills, wardrobes, beds, on sofas, on the computer chair, on the stairs, under the cube outside, on next doors garage roof. Basically anywhere apart from his basket. He does what he wants to, typical cat

chick wiggle
Brilliant photos snowy so cute Our lovely dog Bess used to jump in her basket at the bottom of the stairs when we said bedtime and night night. Then after she had heard us get into bed, we could hear her sneak upstairs and very slowly and quietly gently push our bedoom door open and almost as if on tiptoes she would sidle in and sleep at the side of our bed. And as soon as the alarm went off in the morning, she would race downstairs back into her basket and look all innocent when we came down We never let on we knew she was there Rosie, DDs bunny however, sleeps where ever DD is! It is because I am special!! or is it cos she knows I always bring doggy treat ........ def cos I am special! Midge our old cat likes to sleep on the back of the sofa. Molly and Oscar sleep on our bed at night (Jus and I and confined to one third of the bed and the cats get the rest). During the day it seems that Molly likes to sleep on whatever pile of washing i have just got dry and Oscar likes to sleep on top of the kitchen cabinets...I have to hoover up there these days!!! Great pics btw!!!
Redwing
Our dog Otis officially sleeps on a big cushion on the lounge floor however we know full well that when we are in bed he sneaks up to the spare room bed and when he hears us wake he slips downstairs again then has the audacity to stretch and yawn on his pillow when we go in to the lounge, I think he thinks we are idiots
Lesley
That's so funny Tash! Great photos Snowy Jazz and Tali now share the large built in crate under the stairs in the middle of the hall. During the day when they are out they both have a bed in the lounge but Jazz likes to sit by the side of one of us - I've trained her to fetch a blanket to lie on. Tali still prefers to crash out on the floor at the moment.
Chunky_Monkey
Our cats sleep anywhere where there is a duvet or a bed; both is a bonus!
chickencam
My mogs are both curled up together on top of the Lloyd Loom trunk I use as an ironing basket. It has cushions on top of it and is right next to the radiator. They haven't yet noticed that the heating has gone off After this they will see if any bedroom doors are open, they both like the children's beds even smelly DS's . Sometimes Scamp pretends to be a black cushion in between the 2 cushions on our bed They are not allowed to sleep on our new sofas, but Ziggy things that she is royalty and a soon as we turn our backs she is there. She tries to look as cute as possible if she is caught
The Dogmother
Here are the promised photos of Ruby asleep, please excuse her wild coiffure - she'd just got soaking wet and had to be hosed down - it soon brushed out though. The cats sleep on my bed during the day; Biscuit stays there all night too, but Georgie gets off. Ruby sleeps in her crate downstairs at night. Old Speckled Hen
'Teazer sleeps by the fire in the day under the radiator in the evening and inside a fluffy dog bed with a heat pad inside at night. She has very little hair (when my mother visits she sleeps IN the bed with her shhhhhhhhhhhh) Ice the collie sleeps 1 inch from my feet except at night time when he has to go in his basket
Daphne
Your stories and pictures made me smile I suffer from asthma and am very strict about shutting the cats downstairs in the kitchen at night. However, I used to let our old boy sleep on our bed (yes, yes very strict I know). How does it go? He started off at the bottom, but in the morning, in a row: OH head on pillow, Boris head on pillow, me head on pillow. Oh so cute Do you ever wonder, if there was a plague or something and we all died, how long it would take the cat, who sits on you when you are lying down, to decide to eat you? Oh cheers Daphne, what a lovely thought!! But just in case, I've informed the girls that if the opposite happens they'll be in a curry. I think we're safe now

Lesley
I think my answer today would have to be......they will be living outside in a kennel if they don't stop throwing all the bedding up in the air!!! Jazz was in the process of scratching all her bedding up hence the blurred image - Tali knew she'd been caught

The Dogmother
That made me laugh Lesley - Ruby always pulls all the bedding out of her crate and onto the kitchen floor during the day. My kitchen isn't very big, so it's hard to walk around it all
grracee
Well... i've spoilt my lab, bouncer far too much. In the day time he will sleep on his cushion he has in the living room, or if the suns shining he will sleep on the chair in the sitting room unless he's caught then he will give the old puppy dog eyes! But at night time I let him sleep on my bed, know i shouldn't but he is such a good hot water bottle, although he does take up half of the bed!
