A cherry picker called Norris!

 

It's one of those lift things that workmen use to change bulbs in street lamps & it's huge!

It's hubby's new toy & he's wanted one for years.

 

I got a Wii as part of the bargain!

Ahhh well, we pulled into a car park on the way home - so I could pop Asda for a wee. We took up 2 spaces - naughty us & I just so had my camera on me. I'll ask hubby to send me the piccy.

It's for pointing our chimney, doing the guttering, painting the house, cutting the trees & will prove very useful on our smallholding in a few years.

Brilliant purchase - we had a loan of one and used it to paint the soffits round the gutters and I was duly harnessed on and found I could not let go to hold paint tin and brush - could only do one of them - heights are therefore not my forte!

Would be useful for school, we have a scaff tower which we have to use to adjust all the stage lights, thats uber-wobbly and I'm the only one not scared of heights that'll go up it

He's also been looking at tug trucks by Linde. What next? I know we are purveyors of fine junk, but I wonder where it will end? What a tolerant wifey I am.

 

Anyway, I'm sure my Wii will prove just as useful.

 

I shall have to go up in Norris a bit at a time, until I feel confident - I can't wait to try him out.

He is rather monsterous in our garden - ho hum.

I'm having to hide this thread from my loved one He would definitely like Norris. I wouldn't mind if we had one either. At the moment we just have a super long ladder for cleaning out the gutters and replacing outside lightbulbs (which are incredibly high) and I am always terrified that there will be an awful accident Anyway, I think you are safe against anyone stealing him - not easy to camouflage
