and not being able to bring home a sole chicken, as that would not be fair, I bought her a friend.......

 

Dorothea - A Gold Legbar (that Redwing was selling)

 

Photos to follow later, OH is taking a half day "Paternity Leave", I had already booked the day off and as OH is my official chook photographer he will take some pics on his arrival home (nothing to do with the fact that I can't work the camera, and wouldn't have the first clue on how to upload them to the PC or resize them )

Although, I am going to let them have a run in the walk in run later (as am not ready to let them free range, but it will give them a break from the Eglu run) when the rest are out free-ranging.

 

Its also a better venue for the photos

I don't know, Tasha thought she was around 18-20 weeks. She is holding her own against the older Dorothea though, so I am happy

Tegan reminded me of Cookie's orpies. I was eyeing her up, but having the Eggy Babes recently and one of which is hogging the eglu, felt I couldn't add any more yet.
