Fox comes last in pecking order!!! CHICKEN REVENGE!!!

Recommended Posts

Although I bet it died of a heart attack before the chickens set to it.

Aw :( Poor fox. Maybe if they'd had a properly secure run they wouldn't have lost so many chickens or that poor fox wouldn't have suffered a miserable death. Although I bet it died of a heart attack before the chickens set to it.

do you know I was just think the same thing!

Chooks would peck at anything if it was dead!

I saw this on the news presented as some sort of 'feel good' story. It upset me. i hate to think of anything suffering or dying and the owner of the chickens should have been far more cautious considering they'd been foxed in the past!

People defend domestic cats that kill birds by saying "it's just in their nature". Well, isn't it in a fox's nature to kill a chicken? Surely a fox has more reason than a cat too as the fox needs to eat!

I find it a very sad story and i'm quite frankly disgusted at people who think the fox deserved it.

your entitled to your opinion Poet, and others, like me, are entitled to ours, I would never call you 'disgusting' though (which is what you were saying) just for voicing our personal opinions. :?

Please keep the thread on pesonal opinions rather than insults :)

I think this is abit of an over reaction..... I do think poet was generalizing rather then calling anyone disgusting... its horrid that any animal got killed.... when my birds got foxed we cornered the fox and I was soo angry and upset i sent my hubby to get the shovel as I was more then ready to kill that animal out of anger (Ive never hurt any animal in my life nor would i ever) but then i thought that its just the cruel fate of nature and that I should have been more careful, therefore I couldnt hold the fox responsible for what comes naturally to them in order to survive. all I can do now is learn from my mistakes and make things safer for the hens that I still have!

lets keep this civil and accept everyone has a view. its hard to get the true meaning of what ppl say as we cant hear their tone of voice of expressions on their faces!

*cruels back under the table waiting!!* :?

:) I am quite happy to read everyone's view but I dislike being called disgusting which is how I interpreted the reply I referred to. I am entitled to my opinion just like you are and don't feel it an overreaction :)

edited because I forgot to spell check
