I had these done on Saturday and printed and mounted at the time I thought the close up of Tarzans head was a nice fun shot - a bit more pet-like

Redwing, they are a stunning pair of birds. You must be beside yourself with pride. How on earth do you get them to stand so beautifully. Do you brush their legs and feet clean with a tooth brush............ and their feathers everyone in place. They take your breath away.

blimey Tasha!, I knew they were stunning, but they are... they are..... I am speechless (for once ) totally gorgeous!!! :D

They are lovely - saw Tasha's piccies in sneaky preview. The guy has taken gorgeous photos - hey now you can see all my future birds - except the ones on stilts. I want the Japanese ones and the silkie whatevertheywere crossythingies with up in the air tails. And lots more. Still think Redder's birdies are so much better in the flesh (or feathers) than in the pics, but the fellow has brought out the barring very well.

I was with Tasha when she bought Tarzan so I follow his progress eagerly Gorgeous chap he is! they all are so so gorgeous

yes he did a good job of getting them standingg correctly and so still, if I had done that alone they would have been in the next county by tea time

 

its not every day you can get your chooks professionally photographed so it was worth every penny

 

It seems ages ago that we got him CM doesnt it? he was one impulse buy that definitely paid off

Yes it does seem ages ago hes grown into a fine young gent he has and he was a bargain if I remember rightly

Brilliant pics of Tarzan and Jane I thoroughly enjoyed admiring all of the others too, all stunning birds

Tarzan came from a place called Thornes - chap who runs a garden centre and also breeds poultry

 

He kept two cockerels back of some breeds and decided which was best to keep for breeding, the others went in to a pen to be sold and thats where we found Tarzan, sitting patiently and sweetly in the coop watching the world go by out of the door and waiting to be bought while the other two cockerels (different breeds) paced the run

 

I obviously didnt need a cockerel but you know what I am like he was my first cockerel and first barred Dotte, that was about last July/August time I think

They are magnificent pictures - I wonder if its worth pinning this as a sticky; the photos by and large show quality birds of many breeds which might be helpful for people thinking of showing?

Tarzan has really grown into a gorgeous young man! And yes, that trip to Thornes does seem like a long time ago doesn`t.
