buffie
We don't do gifts but cards. Daisie has given me a lovely gift...found a bottle to play with only it contained a decomposing mouse WE both smell lovely, she's had a bath and I haven't Hope Mikey appreciates my efforts Did fetch the wine and defrost a lovely big rump steak He's just walked in with flowers for me BBx
gooner.girl
OH sent me 2 cards(!) lovely flowers and a box of chocolates and has bought my favourite food for dinner. The little boys at work kept giving me 'valentines hugs' today. Bless... Hummmm. My best valentines day present was probably a pair of trainers from an ex (i'm easily pleased!) Although another ex did write me a very romantic Valentines poem once....
gooner.girl
Happy Birthday Susan! I feel very mean - OH gave me a cup of tea in bed, followed by a lovely mushy card and a big box of Thorntons. What did I get him? Nothing! I'm convinced that we discussed it last year and agreed not to bother this year! Think I've got some serious grovelling to do! now that's a very old and mean trick - agree not to buy stuff - and then one of them buys stuff - below the belt that one!! Phil Been caught out that way before, yourself eh Phil?!

chocchick
As probably shouldn't join the other valentines thread OH cooked me beef pie from scratch (took him hours and overnight preparation, and used nice farm shop beef and own pastry) I bought a cheesecake I heard his workmate was "cooking" a meal for his girlfriend.... a ready meal we think he was serious as he was saying, well you have to heat it up right

Popcorn
Like Buff, we don't do gifts, but we do do cards. This year, however, I knew nothing about a surprise meal in a lovely little restaurant down the road, champagne and chocolates...even sorted baby-sitters without me having a clue!
