Seagazer
My ES's girlfriend auditioned for this show, she didn't get through. I wish your friend luck. We are going to see it being filmed in a few weeks.
chelsea
With the Wizard of Oz being my all time most favourite film, this series has become the highlight of my week Really hope they pick a good Dorothy.
Guest
..... (Poet came to see it and will tell you how fantastic she is!) ....! she really was, every single one of us in our group commented on how talented she was and when she makes it to the west end (which she's bound to do!) we can say, we knew her when she wasn't famous! Janepie33
I will look out for her. I haven't really got a favourite yet ( there was an interesting girl with curly ginger hair, but she went out in the final 50 on Dorothy farm). the only one who caught my eye was Jessica, but I will be rooting for Danielle as she knows an Omleteer! chelsea
The red headed girl is my second choice.
Sunshine
Bronte is from my local town. I've never heard of her and didn't know anyone from round here was going to be on so it was a suprise when they said on the tv! There is a big article in the local paper and i've seen two massive banners today with her photo on. I don't have any favourites yet. Really enjoyed watching it last week though! batcatz
I am so addicted to Over the Rainbow! Help. There are a few I like and I can't decide who is my favourite yet. Stephanie and Sophie, but Danielle looks like a Dorothy too. I'm soooo getting tickets to watch it at the theatre. Good luck!

Lavenders_Blue
You won't believe this, but I took my hen Dorothy to the auditions. She has real star talent and I knew she would be perfect for the role, what with actually already being a Dorothy. Sadly she disgraced herself by making a nest in the straw man. Andrew Lloyd Webber was furious and she has now been banned from any future auditions for his shows. She is very upset about it all.

Seagazer
Went to see this being filmed last night. Finally managed to get into see a show. It was fantastic. Graham Norton is so funny and made lots of funny comments to the audience as they were filming the sunday results show. Charlotte and Sheila looked absolutely stunning and I've changed my mind about John Partridge as I though he had become a bit of a prima donna. He was such a gentleman, every time Charlotte or Sheila had to leave the stage he would take their arm and help them down. There were some old ladies just down from us and we were sitting next to the judges walkway and when they were waiting to be introduced he was chatting away with the old ladies and even said goodbye to them all. It will be interesting to watch the show back today (hopefully I won't see me on it ) but to see how the girls came across on tv as opposed to on the stage. My favourites are Stephanie and Danielle

chickinboy
Seagazer - I was there last night too!! Such a good night. A friend of ours is on the production team, so we managed to get the first two seats right by Sheila Hancock's feet! It was a bit scary being so close - and the flame throwers that go off at the start were soooo hot on our faces. We watched it back when we got in, and we were on it loads! Think we were actually in shot more for the results show, so we'll see tonight! My OH wasn't so impressed that every time the camera went past us, the light seemed to catch his bald patch that he claims isn't there!!! Look out for us tonight! Oh, and Danielle is FANTASTIC! Lauren is my other favourite. There's a great performace with Charlotte Church shown tonight to look out for that. We got to see it twice 'cos her mic pack fell out on the first one! Seagazer
I think I might have seen you as we were about 9 rows behind where the judges sat. Are you talking about the camera on the long arm thing because I kept looking at these poor people (more than likely you!!) and thinking I hope it doesn't bash them on their heads. We could feel the heat from the pyrotechnics from where we were so goodness knows what it was like for you. Waiting for OH to come back from a bike ride and then we will be sitting down to watch it. Isn't that funny - shame we didn't put on about going before we could have met up and said hello

alih
I am loving this show. Stephanie or Danielle for me but Jessica is gorgeous too. How exciting to be there for real, lucky things!
Seagazer
If you go to Applause.com and subscribe to their email notifications and create an account, you get sent notifications of all the shows, you then simply apply for tickets and you may or not get tickets, its like a lottery. You can then upgrade this to a platinum account for about £20 a year and you get priority tickets. Its not guaranteed however. We tried with Dancing on Ice but didn't get priority although got standby tickets, unfortunately we didn't get in that time. They take the production guests first - ie chickinboy, then priority holders, then standbys. Quite a few standbys got in last night. DOI is a nightmare if you think about how many celebrities are always in the audience. Chickinboy - it was your OH that I feared for!! We've watched it back and we saw him a lot, didn't see so much of you though. (Your hubby had the dark shirt on - yes?) We saw ourselves once, when Graham was in the aisle up the stairs behind Emily's family. "Ooops, word censored!"ody would ever know it was us apart from us mind you thank goodness We high fived ourselves though when we saw ourselves Right girl went on the night (even if it was saturday night) Charlotte's song gave us goosebumps watching it back. I loved the fact that they used the conversation with Graham at the end of the song, from the first time she sang the song.
Janepie33
That was so mean, making Danielle wait twice to be told if she was in the sing off or not!
Woodcat
That was so mean, making Danielle wait twice to be told if she was in the sing off or not! I thought that was horrid of them. The poor girl had enough worry without that aswell.
Seagazer
Wasn't it just, I know you could hear the audience groan but it sounded much louder when we were there. She's really popular with a lot of people. To be honest I didn't think that Emily sounded as bad as she did when we watched her singing it in the audience as it did when we just watched it back, she sounded really off. chickinboy
yeah we seemed to be in the results show loads! People keep texting me to tell me that I looked bored...I wasn't, I was just desperately trying not to grin at the camera! OH half is the blond guy in the grey shirt, me with the black hair and black shirt next to him. I had it in my head that if I wore a bright colour, or a tshirt with a big brand name on it, they might move me....so I wore black and ended up blending into the shadows! The right girl definitely went in the night...though I did feel really sorry for her when she mucked up her very last note on the moon - she'll remember that forever! OH was desperate for a go on the moon This is a quick phone snap of him in his seat - look closely and you can see Sheila Hancock's snotty tissue left on her chair behind!
