Not Herefordshire. Apparently we are a key seat. Suggest no radio, tv or internet. Just move in with the chooks. I wonder if foreign travel bookings are up for early May?

Set up a tent in your garden? Go 'wild' camping somewhere? I hardly ever buy a paper, nor do I watch TV very often, but it's going to be hard to avoid it!

I suggest borrowing some small children for a few weeks - then all you'll be able to listen to is CBeebies or Thomas the Tank Engine (whats happening on May 7th? Should I know??)

My brother is taking a politics degree from September, he's beside himself with excitement already so I suggest you don't stay anywhere near him

We haven't been bothered for years and I don't have it on the television - we do vote but it's easy to see why people are so apathetic around here. At the local elections a neighbouring constituency had the BNP get in

You'd be fairly safe here in Sussex by the Sea.....( if you put a blue rosette on a donkey here it would still get voted in so I don't think they bother to canvass ). Personally I will be turning off my tv and radio until it is all over...and foregoing the luxury of a paper on a Saturday (only have time to read one paper a week!)....
