Okay, I had a go at the cupcake last night. It was a bit of a disaster. I folded in all the right places but it just wouldn't stay put and kept coming unfolded. Is my loo paper too posh? Do I need some of that tracing paper stuff they have in schools?

Hubby asked me if I was okay when I came out. I had been in there a while

I didn't dare say I had been practising toilet paper origami

Oooh! I am a convert. First saw the folded triangle in Thailand on honeymoon in 1990, and occasionally come across it in hotels in this country, but no idea it was an artform! I am sitting here right now with a loo role trying the fan thingy and failing miserably. Think I need more wine, then try again.

I have to have that loo role origami book. It's a must! And there is a towel version of this artform?

My life has been so meaningless and empty up til now. How could I not know how fulfilling life could be sitting on the loo?

Is the book divided into quick origami (if you are doing a no 1) and

More complicated origami (for those no 2 moments?)

I have found my calling in life. :D

Sheila (Teabag) called in today - I made the cupcake 'specially for her!

I had to put it as a display because otherwise the paper would have been the wrong way round  ...

:clap: It was brilliant & much appreciated, thank you Lesley, I was really impressed.

Teabag folding? Hands off, sounds dangerous!

Actually, it's a fun. DD2 learnt this and downloaded some patterns. It's quite a satisfying craft activity, for a short while.

What a brilliant thread - OH knows I'm on the forum cos he can hear me roaring with laughter.

Lesley - I'm with you on the 'flap down the back' and so is my mom!

Was talking to a friend earlier who asked me to hang on whilst she wiped her bum!!

Her daughter thrust the phone at her in the 'smallest room' and walked off - little tinker

I'm feeling a little flushed now.......

:lol::lol: - glad to know Sheila and I are not the only ones who hang the roll properly.

I have sad news :( - we had visitors on Sunday...........and someone renewed the toilet roll :(

Despite there being a 4 pack on the cupboard, whoever it was decided to use my cupcake  ........... and to add insult to injury...........they hung it with the paper over the top :twisted::twisted:
