Chicks 1st outing!

I took the baby orps and legbar out in the sunshine this afternoon, yes, we did have some sunshine here :D It was their first time outside and afer some initial anxiety they soon loved it.

Thank you :D they are all taking over my garden now, I have a whole nursery area there now :lol: Love it though :lol:

My mum & dad came the other day and said they were taking over the whole garden and i said, well why not, the kids dont play on it anymore and we dont use it apart from the veg patch, so why not. Plenty of room for more! :lol:

I have Tyra & Talulah, Sissy & Ada and when its sunny the chicks in there, the big girls and bantams wander around it eyeing up the newbies. :lol:

Debs, ask Phil, the camera DOES lie! The garden is not really as tidy as looks on that photo.

I alternate between sitting in the nursery and the big girls bit, i do a lot of sitting :oops::lol:

I got the wire from Wilkinsons Em, £19.99 for 10mtrs, its only 3ft high but at the moment none of the girls have bothered to try and jump over it. Lazy blighters they are :lol:

If you put it around your veg patch they will jump over.... my Phil learnt this the hardway :wink:

 

We now have another 3 foot of mesh above it :lol:
