Looking For Slippers

Recommended Posts

OK this is a bit of an ask really I think. I am looking for a pair of slippers that feel like slippers - soft and comfy, but look more like a shoe. I don't like granny slippers or too much fur and fluff. I currently wear a pair of fake ugg type fabric boot things. I do tend to nip outside in them a fair bit too  Any suggestions gratefully recieved :D

I have a great pair of Rieker slippers the OH bought for me when we moved in here according to him a new house = new slippers! :?:lol::lol::lol:

They are soooo comfy!

Slip in, full front and a little fluffy on the inside.

They also have a rubber sole so great for little nips outdoors without them getting soggy.

We have a Rieker shop in our nearest town but you can buy them online too.

I've always struggled to find slippers I like in "real" shops - I don't like heels, fluff, pink, flowers, you get the picture!.

I don't know if you like moccasins or not (they may be a little bit "granny" like!) but I ended up getting these which I'm very happy with. I go outside in them a lot (not past the end of the drive though  ).

The "fluff" isn't nearly as obvious as in the picture - you can hardly see it.

Strangely I hadn't thought of moccasins and they look good.

I always buy men's slippers.

Practical, comfortable and not girlie.

Same here :D

Asda have some fab slip on ones for a fiver at the moment, and Sainsburys are doing some lovely non furry moccasins for £12. If you are buying mens though, remember to buy a size smaller than you are.

I wear Crocs mammoths as slippers - they feel wonderful when you slip them on after a day at work :P

And as a plus, you can also wear them in the garden 8)

I dont have a pic but I went into a sports shop and found a pair of Crocs with fleece lining in bright pink(they do blue ones too), I dont know if these are Crocs mammoths? but I like plastic soled slippers so if I end up out in the wet or on the grass I can come in and wipe them. They are really comfy and I did wash them in the hot weather as the liners dont come out but they washed up fine. I am really pleased with them, I just googled crocs Mammoth and yes this is what I have , Amazon sell them in lots of colours I paid £10 in a sale.

indie :)

Well,I have skinny feet - I think Crocs are average, but the style of them makes them look wide :D

Me too, and I love my black Croc mammoth 'slippers' They've been through the washing machine countless times and come up like new.
