I am looking for a pair of slippers that feel like slippers - soft and comfy, but look more like a shoe. I don't like granny slippers or too much fur and fluff. I currently wear a pair of fake ugg type fabric boot things. theherd123 Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 I have a great pair of Rieker slippers the OH bought for me when we moved in here according to him a new house = new slippers! They are soooo comfy! Slip in, full front and a little fluffy on the inside. They also have a rubber sole so great for little nips outdoors without them getting soggy. Ain't Nobody Here Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 I've always struggled to find slippers I like in "real" shops - I don't like heels, fluff, pink, flowers, you get the picture!. I don't know if you like moccasins or not (they may be a little bit "granny" like!) but I ended up getting these which I'm very happy with. I go outside in them a lot (not past the end of the drive though ). The "fluff" isn't nearly as obvious as in the picture - you can hardly see it. welovemarmite Posted June 12, 2010 Share Posted June 12, 2010 i wear crocs for slippers too. I have two pairs one for clean stuff and one for slightly mucky stuff like pottering inthe garden. Very comfy, warm but allow my feet to breathe and so light its like you have nothing on your feet. If I could get away with it I would wear them to work. Same here Asda have some fab slip on ones for a fiver at the moment, and Sainsburys are doing some lovely non furry moccasins for £12. They are really comfy and I did wash them in the hot weather as the liners dont come out but they washed up fine.
