bronze
We used to talk about prudence (and her sister patience) quite a lot on this forum. I've been away for a while and it really seems to have fallen by the wayside

The Dogmother
Fear not! I have Prudence's clone at home with me; I am her number one fan. In fact two of my new hens (currently chicks) will be called Prudence and Patience.

Jools
We used to talk about prudence (and her sister patience) quite a lot on this forum. I've been away for a while and it really seems to have fallen by the wayside I thought that when I came back last year. I suspect, like Elvis, she has left the building. Prudence is also who stops you hatching eggs before you've done all the relevant basic research or buying more chickens before you have another house sorted etc etc
Seagazer
I did her in when I ordered my new shutters from Thomas Sanderson (it is a long term investment, it is, it is). Prudence has obviously been talking to my OH as he wouldn't let me order any of these! He said its only sunny twice a year - he's the one that sits shielding his eyes every night whilst I sit in the shaded part of the front room Let me know how you get on with them as I may yet talk him round if Prudence leaves the room
