Egluntyne Posted July 30, 2010 Share Posted July 30, 2010 I acquired 4 Cuckoo Marans chicks yesterday, and under cover of darkness last night, I sneaked them under Maud, my broody hen who had been sitting on eggs which unfortunately didn't hatch. I followed the instructions **here** to the letter. I didn't sleep a wink! I tiptoed out first thing and to my relief I saw a little face peeping out from underneath her. I'm hoping that they are girls. The darker colouring and wing feathers seem to indicate that they might be, but as we all know only too well, it is the luck of the draw.
