Gelbel
Try Marmite with (red) jam on toast for an amazing sweet and savoury experience. It does have to be white bread toasted, wholemeal does not give the same effect. It gets so I daren't have white bread in the house as I could eat a whole loaf and empty a pot of jam in one sitting. debbier
Nope, I have to agree with the "this is so wrong" peoples! I did see some marmite+champagne posh pots in Selfridges a while back, and couldn't see the point of that at all as the champers would be lost. Mind you, this was in a shop that sells sparkley bottles of fancy mineral water at around £16 a bottle. I mean who buys that stuff??? Cinnamon
A recommendation for all you sweet & savoury fans out there..... I kept putting these flat, round handmade pastries through my till at Waitrose,& I got chatting to people about them, who all said they are divine They are called Tortas, and are a sweet crisp sugar pastry studded with fennel seeds a.d they are to die for. Another brilliant hamper stuffer
