Starts in a couple of weeks I believe..they have started showing trailers..I love it! glad I'm not the only one who likes it

I'm afraid I'm a Grumpy Lady about all of these types of programmes, especially when they promote famous people. I know that's very miserable of me and you didn't ask ' who's not looking forward to' ?! I just occasionally like to make a protest.

We have fallen for X Factor this autumn but as OH said last night when we saw a trailer for I'm a Celebrity 'that's a step too far'

 

I can't believe how much TV we are watching at the moment, we usually hardly watch a thing, but last night it started with Time Team at 5.30pm and ended with James May which finished at 10pm

When I saw the advert last night I turned to my OH and said 'fantastic, I'm in telly heaven' and he just looked like this He loves Strictly, puts up with X factor for me but draws the line at Eastenders now. I sky + it and watch later. I have a feeling I'm going to have to do that with Celebrity although he does usually enjoy the banter between Ant & Dec so I might get him to watch it.

I watched a couple of series of it but now think it is just cheap tv. A bit like big brother - I was interested in a social experiment sort of way but then it just descended into silliness. I like Ant and Dec though.

Watched the first couple, then got bored when they put people in I've never even heard of (or the ones I have heard of, I have no wish to watch ).

 

Too much on the V+ box to watch, in any case - Dexter, Mad Men, Ladies Detective Agency, Underbelly, Pillars of the Earth, Who Do You Think You Are ... and I could go on .

I am afraid that I am firmly in the Grumpy Old Woman camp and can't' stand it. It will be on though as OH and DD love it. I can see the attraction but it is all getting a bit repetetive now and it smacks of desperation when Z list celebrities realise that their careers are foundering and decide to go in for these things!

I watched and enjoyed the first series, but it did have some Celebrities on it.( It should be renamed I'm a nonentity get me out of here.). but really really bored with the concept now. Sorry not for me either....
