Blimey i was going to go but got carried away in the garden, Did you park ok?

Yes thanks, parked by the entrance to Spiceball fields. Bet it's really flooded this morning, will drive by there this evening to have a look.

Started raining here at 4am and we're back to pouring rain, but at least it's not windy and cold like it was before. Currently 10.4deg here.

We had a thunder storm on Monday night at 1am and the lightening was so frequent it looked like a strobe light, we then had an inch of rain between then and 8am

We were supposed to have a dry day yesterday but we had a real cloudburst at 3pm, sunny evening though. It is dull and overcast here today.

Dry? You want to see mine Karen; it's still pretty damp.

Were those OH's socks then? As bad as Rosie's bedroom; she only half stripped her bed this morning so I took the bottom sheet off and found a load of dirty socks between that and the mattress cover  she's worse than a teenage boy... at least they wouldn't wear my clothes.

Grrr it is raining again

I don't believe it I have just seperated the WIR into its two parts to put the ex batts in one end. It is lovely, all clean new bedding, lovely clean eglu. I moved Agnes and Agatha across yesterday evening and now it is raining and will probably get their new home all soggy, I have been out and added some protection to the sides of the WIR this morning so hopefully that will help.

Yes, 6deg and it looks like it has been raining all night judging by the amount of surface water around. Got drenched again this morning... well, the waterproofs and dogs did!

Went for a walk around the reservoir last night, the perimeter path is open again after the adjacent river flooded over it on Sunday. The res. is now full for the first time in over a year :D what's the betting that it's the 'writing's sort of water'? The sailing club there has a chainlink fence aroudn it and the whole fence has a very clearly demarked 8" 'skirting board' of grass and debris pressed against it by the floods. Looks most odd.

Our forcast for Sunday and Monday looks ok.

We has a pleasant evening at Cheltenham racecourse yesterday, it rained a little bit but just a few big spots, but it was as mild as I can remember it being up there, it is normally very exposed windy and cold.

it then rained heavily late evening and overnight, cold windy, damp and overcast here today.

I think my parsnips have been washed to Timbuktu! I have nothing else but garlic and winter onions in the ground. Rather pointless to sow any more seed for anything as the tomatoes are beginning to take up all the room and planting out of anything would be crackers as there's no end in sight of this wet stuff.

I noticed it was lovely weather in the Highlands. It'll be different in June when we go on holiday - I bet the rain will follow us!

The chickens have started quacking. Actually they are getting fed up with the greenhouse, they've scoffed any woodlice, earwigs, spiders mad enough to stay around. I had a brilliant idea of putting their dirt bath in the greenhouse. Brilliant for the chooks, bad for the greenhouse as there is now a layer of dirt on every surface possible!!!!

Lots of flooding around here too.
