I nipped in today and ended up being lazy and buying the Indain one for tea. We had chicken jalfrezi, beef madras, veg samosas and pilau rice. Was delicious although not as spicy as I'd hoped.

I love those too, but there are never any left in our store when I go in I'd send Rosie down after school but she'd need the shopping trolley to get it home, and she'd rather eat her own toenails than use my lovely trolley.

 

Phil bought the take away deal last Saturday while I was working and had it ready when I got in (bless him, he's no cook) we managed to hide the key lime pie form Rosie when she got back on Sunday, so I enjoyed it on Monday and yesterday.

We had the shepherd's pie last night - lovely and easy to eat with one hand while baby wriggles!

I didn't even know - just wandered in there to see if there were any sale bargains left, and ended up buying

2 lots of Leek & Gruyere Bake

1 of rosemary potatoes

3 lots of Glazed Pork Joint (a slow cooked spicy pork shoulder which we've had the same from Waitrose and is divine - and is also farm assured UK pork unlike the gammon joint )

and the 3 puds are 2 Chocolate Cheesecake Slices and 2 Millionaires Shortbread and a Tiramisu Tray bake

plus for drinks 2 bottle sof Los Nucos Carmenere - Shiraz

a double pack of Cox Presse.

 

Looking forward to dinner tonight - and lunch tomorrow by the amount of pork we have

The Valentines one is usually £15,but has gone up.

Still good value,but a shame.

It looks a good menu, and you do get a lot for your £20. The sea bass sounds very good, so I am hoping our local M&S has it in stock.

Am allergic to bivalves and don't like chocolate, nor will I eat their chicken as it's not free-range... will see what's left!
