USA souvenir suggestions

Recommended Posts

My brother is in the US of A on a road trip with his girlfriend who will be 30 tomorrow. He sent me an email telling how they were doing, what they'd seen etc, and asked if there was anything we'd like him to bring back with him. Apart from sweets for the kids, I can't think of anything. I have asked him to take some photos of the Cherry Blossom festival in Washington DC as the annual festival is on when they are there.

So, any suggestions on what to ask for, if anything?

and 'press and seal' is good too http://www.glad.com/plasticwrap/press_n_seal-40 useful for quilting.

This is biscuits in USA you have them for breakfast with egg, bacon etc., or with chicken at KFC or with all sorts of meals. I brought some mixes home and we have them with chicken mmmmm.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I Got my DS to have a look and see what took his fancy and he has come up with the following list

Twizzlers

Pop Tarts – all flavours welcome :o)

Lucky Charms (breakfast cereal)

Trix (cereal)

General Mills Cinnamon Toast crunch (cereal)

Apple Jacks (cereal)

Hot Tamales (chewy spicy cinnamon sweets)

I have added Welches grape jelly

Jello - any flavour

I like the sound of the hot Tamales. Love anything cinnamon. I used to eat tons of the original Dentyne gum

So we shall see what, if anything, he brings back :D

Getting away from food, I brought back lovely Crate and Barrel teatowels with Easter chicks on them (about $12) last week from Washington DC. Also have brought Ziplock freezer bags (very strong) and round coffee filter papers ( instead of using the plastic basket-heeps cheaper than UK, 99c in Target.
