auntielizzie
Here is a picture of my setup. I have a wooden house with integral walk-in run plus Omlet netting which I move around (I wouldn't be without this - even though Betty Boo has jumped over it several times, but only when she sees I have food in my hand). This seems to be working out very well and I am very happy with it, although I should have put the nest boxes on the other side of the house away from the door as they will both only use the end one furthest from the door) . You live and learn! Maybe one day I will take the whole thing apart and swap it over to the other side but that's a big job I am amazed by some of the fantastic walk in runs that some others have which I had never imagined before I joined the forum. If I could start again I think I would go for a larger walk in run and a cube, as my run looks a bit small now compared with what I have seen since joining. jennydavies
You have got the same hen-house as us my husband, Charlie, has built extra terracing on both sides of ours so that the girls can shelter from the sun - it now looks like a Henny Villa I love the fact that I can do all my cleaning standing upright. I love the eglu's but.....
