Laura & CTB
Hi all I've just been watching my girlies get ready for bed - so cute with their little routines tried to photograph them snuggled together on their perch but of course theor ego's wont let them sit still if there's a camera around!! Guess i just wanted to say that this time last year I was only contemplating chickens in my life and a year on I cant imagine life without them. They are simple creatures - teaching me a lot about life - and when I need a laugh - they're always there. ready and willing!! I love 'em to bits. Lindsay
Definitely agree Laura, my girls have been such a source of pleasure, especially on those days when you've had enough of humans!! Just going out and getting some fresh air and having a chat with them banishes those blues every time!!
Guest
I have to agree with all of these posts, chickens are fantastic. They also get 8 year old girls out of bed on a saturday morning at 7.30am, dressed and ready to go out into the garden with them

chickenlass
I can't remember where exactly I read this ..It may have been on here or in a Chicken book but someone said that "Chickens bring a garden to life" and it is so very true.. I don't mind the constant weeding and grass cutting etc so much now because the girls make going inthe garden fun!
