hopingforchickens
Hi I was talking to a teacher at school whose chickens have stopped laying, they seem healthy and nothing wrong so I suggested maybe they need worming, she's had them just over 4ish months and they haven't been done since she's had them. I recommended flubenvet and then realised I have no idea where to buy it from, googled it, but is it best to get from recommended dealer? I could also do with getting some for myself fairly soon, so could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I'm going back in and hour and a half so suggestions would be great, thanks

The Dogmother
I buy the pre-mixed pellets directly from Marriages, their website isn't brilliant so I just ring them up and order a 10kg bag.

ashjc
Hi I got mine from vets direct I think.. I googled them. It was cheaper by £10 than from my vet and they only charged a £1 for delivery and it arrived the next day.

johnandkymberley
Do you need a vets approval?

ashjc
I didnt but I bought the 1% version as only have 2 chooks. Not sure if the others you do. I think perhaps you can only buy it from someone who is lisenced to sell it which most of these firms are.
The Dogmother
Yes, they have to hold a license in order to sell it (involves an outlay of £1k and a four day course in Croydon ) they just have to ask you a few questions such as size of flock before selling it to you. That is the legal requirement.

The Dogmother
Yes, you can still eat the eggs if you are using it at the recommended dosage.
