Great show but not sure about Craig. What he says is true but would be good if he always said things constructively rather than putting them down. You can still say the same thing.

And Jason I thought was great - interesting to see how he progresses... Apart from Lulu (who I thought would be better than that!) there were quite a few who looked like they had potential. And a few dodgy one as well of course.....

Brendan has been on Twitter denying he's had plastic surgery, says he looks different because his hair is cut differently. He's really really sweet, such a shame he's been lumbered with Lulu

My toes were actually curling when Edwina did her strange thing on the floor at the end I've decided I can't actually stand Anton, why did he waste so much time at the start? Is Nancy a really bad dancer? I know she had a wardrobe malfunction. Why does he always dance for laughs? It really annoys me.

 

Thought Craig was very harsh on the lad from McFly, I thought he danced really well. Loved Jason too.

I finally caught up on this last night - did anyone else think that Edwina looked like Eddie Izzard in drag?

 

i thought that Chelsea acquitted herself quite well - I've no idea who she is and she seems very young but actually did a good waltz.

I agree - Chelsea surprised me as she was elegant (I have no idea who she is either!)

 

Don't know if Nancy can dance or not as we only saw a few steps. Will be interesting to see her next week.

 

I think that either Nancy or Edwina will be the first to go as the first one out tends to be someone who is not particularly popular. I would like it to be Lulu but think she will be there for a bit longer yet.

 

It would be better I think if you could vote for the one you wanted to leave rather than the one you wanted to stay - that would negate any favouritism from the judges which seems to happen every year

We decided that Edwina's necklace gave her the look of a nodding dog, her head didn't look like it was on her body, she also looked like she was wearing a fat suit, another effect of the necklace I think. Lulu was dire so she won't last long and as for Nancy, I think Anton knew that she was awful and tried to make a joke of it like he did with Ann last year. She is not at all likeable very false and egotistical a total diva. Anton really should be given someone who has a chance one year. I know someone who has danced with him and apparently he is lovely.

 

Russell was great fun and pretty nifty too, he will give us a few good laughs and touching moments I feel

 

I bet Kara is feeling anxious about Artem with Holly this year, she knows how much time he will have to spend with her. I hope that their relationship survives, they make a lovely couple.

Yes, Lulu was terrible and so was Nancy.

Only saw a bit of it - was grudgingly surprised at how good Robbie was, but still not keen on him. Jason was predictably good as was Holly.

I have to grudgingly say how good Chelsea was, but what was that comment about Petula Clark, how can you dance to someone's song and not know who they are I do find ignorance very unattractive.

 

Robbie was good as were Jason & Holly. I think Nancy will go I can't see her having the popularity.

Don't know about you but I find Bruno's comments almost sleezy, quite uncomfortable for the contestents. Can't he talk normally?

It's funny that you should say this, because I don't mind Bruno his humour is quite 'carry on' tounge in cheek, it was Len I objected to last night, talking about looking up Nancy's skirt and how many times Artem went through the legs of Holly, I thought he was very crude for that early on a Saturday evening, his opening comment about his chilly willy was a bit too.

I agree with Liz and Sarah on those points. I am glad that Edwina has gone, I found her persona very cringeworthy.

She seemed genuinely shocked by her lack of popularity, she has such a thick skin, poor Vincent put a really brave face on the whole thing and must be so relieved.

I expect Vincent will be glad of the rest! Prior to starting Strictly again he'd been on tour with Flavia with their Midnight Tango show. They'd been rehearsing for months before that. They're back on the road again after Christmas too.

Just caught up with the earlier dances while eating supper - that Chelsee (can her parents not spell?) is a surprise contender; she can really dance when she puts her mind to it. The outfit was a bit lapdancer-ish and her bosoms definitely need better tethering, they seem to have a life of their own and I was worried that any sudden moves would expose something better seen after the watershed She's what my mother would describe as 'trouble with a capital T'

 

Edwina's dance seemed to go on forever, poor Vincent flitting around her like a butterfly while she flumped around. he looked like a nippy little tug steering a big aircraft carrier into port No chemistry there at all but at least she didn't go on about her knickers or sex life. *phew*.

 

Audley (gets the 'bless vote') is a lovable great lummox, but there's no way a man of that size is going to be any more nimble on his feet than he is - he really loves it though and clearly adores Natalie. Lovely dance.
