Leicester_H
Hi So you know that when you log into Amazon, it recommends things to by.... and gives a reason why (based on previous purchase). What are the most bizarre 'connections' you have seen ? Mine so far is Badshah Basmati Rice 10 kg - Recommended because you purchased Gelert Folding Shovel ??!! I'm sure you lot have similar 'oddities' ? H

H Perhaps the people who bought shovels were preparing for some impending natural disaster, and intended to live on stockpiles of basmati rice, whilst tunnelling out with their folding shovels
Egluntyne
I had a message yesterday to say that the shovels were out of stock and that my order wouldn't be delivered till November. Another example of the Omlet effect?
The Dogmother
I haven't had any of those bizarre recommendations on Amazon, but the spellcheck suggestions on Google Chrome never fail to make me laugh.
yvonne
A while back there was one which if you clicked onto a balaclava helmet, it recommended a baseball bat !! (true, I did check)
The Dogmother
A bit like the one yonks ago where a search fro 'jugs' on the Debenhams site took you to bras!
Alis girls
i have had wrestling calendars recommended (not a fan of muscular sweaty men with snakes draped round them ) until I realised YS had got OH to get something for him. Phew - wasnt sure why they thought me buying a chicken tea cosy meant I was interested in wrestling
Ain't Nobody Here
My recommendation, because I bought a Gelert folding shovel, was an emergency bulb set. Bit more useful than basmati rice in a crisis

Although having popped on to see if anything weird and wonderful is on there, I have realised that there are 3 new books coming out that I want
