sandyhas3chucks
3 years ago today My little disabled Girl, Cutie was released from her hell hole of a battery. Unable to walk she was kept for a while by the BHWT co-ordinator , then a home found for her. sadly she was returned because she could not be made more of a chicken. I had just lost 2 of my first 3 exbats (but had still the rescued hole in the neck hen with 1) Cutie and her best pal also disabled but mobile came to me at Easter with 2 others... Many have come and died since but these two are still with me. Cutie can move less than she did, which was not much, one legs ligaments have stretched , so it is too far forward... But she has lived the life of a princess.. When it got cold so early last year the 2 of them moved indoors, I did not expect them to see another summer let alone the start of this winter. All I have done is cared for and seen to her needs.. I think so much is "luck", as to longevity with these exbats... I am so proud of my little girl. sandyhas3chucks
thank you all.. honestly done nothing but cater to her every need... She has such a cheeky face and lets me know what she needs... She adores her best friend and makes baby cheeping noises when she sees her or hears her wheezy breathing coming... She had an egg stuck once and need a course of Baytril. And a bone infection... And since the stuck egg has been having Delvosterone injections to prevent further eggs. As has her best friend
