There was a piece confirming that the Spice Girls were to reform for a 25 date tour. Victoria Beckham looked ludicrous and positively ill. She is starved to the point of emaciation and her legs looked as if they could barely support her. Her silicone implants were somewhere under her collar bones and her pointy basque top barely covered her nipples (can I use that word on a family forum?). Inevitably she was pouting and posing. Most men like curves and a bit of bust! Mine does anyway! I wouldn't want to be like that at all - apart from my pot belly & little back boobs I'm quite happy with how I look. There are people suffering and dying in the world & all Victotria Beckham can think about is how many calories are in a grape!!!! You have to give Emma Bunton a bit of credit. She always got slated by the media, but she did keep her career going & kept trying. I remember Gerri once went anorexic for the raining men video. She looks better with a bit of meat on her - she seems o.k. Sporty - so so Scary.....well scary! I don't think getting back together is the answer girls! I personally dont think flashing your bits everywhere and talking about girl power has much to do with feminism. and dont get me started on the names!! where's University Educated Spice, Doctor Spice, Prime Minister Spice, Engineer Spice?? didnt appeal to the men behind the marketing machine, that's why. phew, rant over!! He must worry about her surely? she's gone from looking normal, healthy and radiant (back when she got engaged to him) to looking like a stick insect, awful hair, money cant buy her dress sense either. She simply can't handle the fact that she is famous for being Mrs Beckham. She would like to think her husband is famous for being married to her, and plays football on the side. They once had a furious fight over a jigsaw!, David bragged he had done it sooo quickly (two months) it said 3 to 6 years on the box! The old ones are the best. Mrs Louise Rednapp is also married to a footballer, does she find it neccesary to stay in the public gaze! She seems like a lovely down to earth kind of girl, never seen her 'pout' for the cameras whilst shopping, and yes she was famous in her own right too and she can sing! What on earth are they going to think about women in years to come? I can't remember the last time I saw a photo of her without a ridiculous posed stance or a pout, the only other look I've ever seen on her is a "falling out of the car drunk" look. Not attractive either. We took a hands-up poll tonight at work wo see if any of the blokes thought she was attractive - none of them did. I thought it was very telling that Rebecca Loos is a nice curvy normal shape. Not that I am condoning her behaviour or anything that may (or may not) have taken place with Mr Beckham I read a great thing yesterday. If she was a size ten, or even....God forbid....a size 12, no-one would be commenting about her figure. She is one of those people who has to be centre stage no matter what and she would rather have the adverse comments and critical photos than have nothing. She said last night that she wanted her children to think she was cool. In a few years they will be totally embarrassed by her.
