I hope that one day I may be able to produce something that looks that impressive

 

(Mind I think using proper chunky wool and not cheap acryllic may make a difference )

I've only done about a couple of inches of the back so I've a long way to go yet but I'm enjoying it and it's nice seeing how everyone else is getting along (and how it should look! )

sorry Plum, my Omlet tshirts would have clashed as I have a black one and a green one

 

My cardy isn't chunky as I tried the pattern with a DK wool, I am going to knit again in a chunkier wool though

Love the cardis that are already finished

I've only got about 3 inches of the back of mine done as I've been catching up (late) with other projects that I had. However now I can get going with my cardi and being in chunky wool, it really won't take long to do.

I really like the wool - I got the Eco Chunky and it's sooo soft and really nice to knit with. I think I'll have to order more - don't know what I'll knit with it yet, but I need to have more!!

Still waiting for my wool to arrive, it is nearly a week now and although I had a confirmation of order I have not had a despatch one Has anyone else ordered from Black Sheep and how is their delivery normally? I am worried that they are going to decide that they don't have it after all because the greenshade was the colour I liked best.

Chickencam I got my wool from Black Sheep and it came very quickly, I am sure it was less than a week. I would give them a call just to check.

 

I have finished the back and have done a couple of inches of the first front but now back at school and also should be writing my OU assignment

Not done any more of my cardi. Patchwork & quilting has taken over.

Loving the finished ones on here! I'll try & do a few more rows of mine later, but it's going to be a slow process. Ah well - it might get finished for next Winter.

My wool came this morning, it is beautiful

 

Now all I need to do is finish my jumper, I have made good progress this week, so hopefully it won't take long and I do have a great incentive now. I must take care not to get any 6mm needles out otherwise stitches might just get cast on

I've been so inspired by all the crafty work on here that I have decided to knit again after over 20 years. I had a knitting machine that I used to use (but it needs a repair to the bed) and I can't remember the last thing I hand knitted.

I have chosen the Patons Eco wool but decided to knit a fitted jacket from their booklet, I am also using the lovely green.

Now can I remember how to cast on .

It's a bit hard to find time to do any as the doglet keeps knicking my ball of wool!

Another knit along sounds good but I too need to finish this one my OU studying is getting in the way of my knitting time

I had to rip out the back of my cardi last Friday after the stitches got pulled off the needle in my bag and I lost patience trying to fix it! Gutted!

So I've had to start again. Had only knitted a few inches, but still .......

At least it's chunky wool and knits up fairly quickly.
