chickencam Posted June 10, 2008 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Rocket flowers are lovely I picked the last of my bolted spinach yesterday, used the best leaves in some quiches and the chooks have had the rest stalks and all they love it. We have a few strawberries from the plants we moved at the beginning of the year. I had some on my museli this morning yum Also harvested some new potatoes for my tea tonight. We have 4 cloves growing in the soil, they started off in pots and all had root etc, but only 2 of them are now growing on top of the soil. We have 4 cloves growing in the soil, they started off in pots and all had root etc, but only 2 of them are now growing on top of the soil. Garlic mostly grows under the soil - not like onions. As Sarah says, the leaves go yellow when they ar e ready. Try lifting one carefully, or s"Ooops, word censored!"ing some of the soil away to have a look.
