Redwing
Meet Kilo he was born at a farm that Lewis was lambing at and is miles too small for his breed (no prizes for guessing his weight) his sibling died sadly After the relevant paperwork was completed he has come to live with me but Lewis will be his 'parent' We have two other lambs at the moment so he will have some company

Lewis
He did get colostrum but from his Dad, not Mom Was one of triplet, 2 mini's (under 1kg) and a bigger lamb, about 4kgs. The 2 littlies were really weak so under a heat lamp and had to be stomach tubed every few hours for a few days as wouldn't take a bottle. Unfortunately the little girl died so I bought Kilo! He's much stronger now, takes a bottle and was snuggled up with Sherlock my rabbit the other night!

Lesley
Yes, Lewis is going to come round to see us....on a camel - can't wait to see you coming across the fields Lewis Will Kilo be on night feeds for longer than usual Tasha? - we've had weak lambs before so it's been quite nice to have George, he's just gone down to 3 feeds a day so none through the night now. Redwing
We had three weak lambs last year Lesley and it was a lot of effort. This year we have two Suffolk crosses and they are nice and strong so are on 3 feeds a day, we hope to get them on the bucket this weekend which will make things even easier Kilo was on feeds through the night but now is fed last thing at night and at 6am and that seems to work fine - he is inside a shed with heat though
