Unsecure chicken perches

Poor Eva hurt her leg.She seemed to be fine yesterday until the evening when she started limping badly.She went to bed and got this morning not able to walk at all.

So a visit to the vet.. I feel terrible she had a swoollen and broken leg.Why did i not take her Friday ? There were options which were not to be honest viable and she was PTS.

We have had her since January and she has always been poorly.Soft eggs ,lashes, poopy bum.I have posted more ? about her than any of my other girls, but she was a star . She was a black pepperpot ,elegant ,well behaved , never got into mischief but always looked sad .My OH reckons she was a lady and should have had pearls around her neck
