Big day for MS

Recommended Posts

MS lost his full time cheffing job in December 2009 and has found it extremely difficult to get work since then. He's kept himself going with handyman jobs and his siblings have been great and very generous. His dream came true earlier when he succeeded in joining the TA and

today, he starts a long-term, full-time job. It's nothing amazing, a lifting heavy weights type job, but it's work and he said he felt like he was re-joining society.

(I read your first line as "MS lost his full time chuffing job...":lol: )

Well done to your son, I hope it goes well and he settles in quickly. Things really are hard out there on the job market, having been through two years of immense stress and worry due to office closure, notice of redundancy etc I have so much sympathy with people trying to find a job.

Xx

Chuffing seems quite apt. He was dead pleased with his first day, lifted heavy stuff outdoors, his favourite environment, made himself useful and had his own desk - with a phone and computer, so that's a whole new world of experience plus the chance in the future to use his HGV licence.

Straight to TA after work tomorrow so had to get kit ready tonight after weekend event. He is so happy to be busy. Thanks for all the nice wishes, i passed them on.
