LolaLayla Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 Really odd day here. It started off like winter. So grey, cold and wet but by the afternoon we had sun. At 6pm it was 13 degrees. I did some gardening this afternoon and was too hot in the greenhouse Honestly it was like winter and summer (ish) in one day. We too had a lovely sunny fresh evening yesterday, we checked on the allotment where there has been a lot of growth both good and bad . We then trimmed the hedge when we got home, I am a little worried about my potatoes because there are lots of them coming up, I hope that they haven't caught a frost, although when they are still small they tend to grow out of it pretty quickly. The garden was filled with it's scent last night It's started off sunny today but there are a few clouds gathering. Milder this morning at 9 deg. I can't stand the 'now you see it, now you don't' game that the warm, sunny weather is playing! Even in the time its taken to type the first sentence the sun is poking through again but a nasty black cloud is rapidly approaching! Just wish it would make up its mind!
