Funny kids!

Recommended Posts

We have had the grandchildren staying for the last few days. While I was at work, OH decided to take them for a walk to the local shop so asked them to get washed and dressed (they are 4 and 6) Half way to the shop, 6 year old boy says 'Grandad, I forgot to put my trousers on'. Luckily he had remembered his boxer shorts - OH hadn't looked too closely and just thought they were skimpy shorts :lol: I haven't laughed so much in ages :D

I love it when kids have obviously dressed themselves and adults are cool with their decisions. Happy.

My daughter works with the public and was getting some grief and abuse from a man. Two young boys went up to her and asked if she'd like them to hit the man. He went off in a huff, she thanked them sincerely because it was a kind offer really. They were very polite with their offer of violence and we wondered if they were cubs 'being prepared '.

oh :) , that is wrong on so many levels, but it seems right  if you know what I mean. an aggressive man totally disarmed by 2 young and very polite boys.

I bet he felt a right burk when he got home and thought about it

 at Snowys OH. I love seeing children who have dressed themselves (spiderman outfit for supermarket )

Oh to be young enough to get away with wandering around in pants! That story made me chuckle!

How lovely the boys offered to come to the rescue, very valiant!

On a couple of occasions when Bogwoppit was a bit younger people pointed out he had his shoes/wellies on the wrong feet..."oh, he insists on putting them on himself" I would say :liar::whistle:

Sadly ES has inherited his father's 'dress sense' He insists on wearing strpied trousers/shorts with checked shirts - I have decided to 'police' his wardrobe a bit better and be much more careful when buying for him now

YS just wants to go everywhere dressed as a knight or pirate, complete with wooden sword which, I swear, will have someone in A&E before long! We tend to negotiate and leave the sword in the car!

When I was a nanny I remember taking a fairy, disney princess and pirate to the supermarket - some arguments are just not worth having!!!!!
