scubababe
On Thursday one of my cats got killed by a car who sped off!! Took him to the vets to be cremated on Friday. Today....backed-up/synced my phone and it deleted all my contacts and most of my calendar!! (thank heavens I have ICloud) then the piece de la resistance....on the way to the supermarket some guy in his summer toy drove into the side of me!!! Nice big dent in my passenger door, side quarter panel, gouges in my wheel and my rear bumper is now hanging off!!!! Things can only get better!!! Willow
so sorry about your cat (and the rest) cowardly as it was driving off I doubt it was malicious. I hit someones cat once fortunately I was driving slowly when it suddenly jumped out of bushes so it must have been hurt but was able to run away. Stopping to search for the cat then knocking on doors to see if I could find who's cat it was was incredibly difficult The owners were very nice to me when I got the right house and I was able to let them know what bush the cat was hiding under in the hopes they could coax it out as I couldn't but I was really worried about encountering very angry owners and fretting about leaving my baby and toddler in the car whilst I did what I could for the cat/owner. Made me understand why someone might just drive off (although I still wouldn't).

Made me understand why someone might just drive off (although I still wouldn't). My neighbours children (late teens/early 20's) knocked on my door to tell me where Jasper was. They had very kindly put him in a box as well Luckily my last child had left for the night so I only had to go down with my 2, which was difficult in it's self! I took them a box of chocolates tonight to say thank you for taking the time to find out who owned the cat and for putting him in a box. I appreciated how difficult it must have been for them telling me one of my pets was dead!! Unfortunately it's something which happens all the time with cats as they are their own owners!! On a plus side I have just managed to restore my contacts to my phone!!
