Cheeky Chooky
When that book came out, a work colleague was reading it during her lunch break and she handed the book to me to read, at what she thought was a particularly bit and I have to say, I honestly couldn't see what all the hype was about Anyway, I'm still off sick and a bit bored so was idly trawling Amazon the other day when I spotted 'Fifty Sheds of Grey'. Postie has just delivered it...I've just read it and it really made me I highly recommend it if you want a silly stocking filler
lillybettybabs
I read the first book and thought it was very boring too! Fifty sheds has a twitter page which make me giggle and much more my type of thing
Cinnamon
In the trilogy's defence, the second & in particular the third books are actually quite good, having a pretty gripping storyline. I tended to skip of the sauce to get back to the whodunnit!
Egluntyne
This is more up my street!
Griffin
I follow Fifty Sheds on Twitter, it's very funny. I loved the Fifty Shades books too!
The Dogmother
I've been laughing at the 50 Sheds twitter page for a few months, and I don't even do twitter. It's hilarious and well timed. Am I the only one not to have read 'The Book of Filth'? Lass at work was reading it during her lunch break as her OH wouldn't let her read it... what's that all about? Charlottechicken
I haven't read it Clare, and have no intention of doing so. Everyone at work seems to be reading it, but they don't rate the second and third ones, so it is interesting that Sarah says they have a better storyline. I imagine the folk round here are not reading it for the story
Luvachicken
Dogmother, I haven't read fifty shades of grey either and have no intention to. I prefer chicken and animal books myself. Mind you I do love gravy - but not watery, and the shed book could be worth a look.
snowberry
I have no intention of reading it either, but have been following Sheds on Twitter for ages. It always makes me laugh! I got it for 99p on kindle, I don't know what price it is at the moment.
CatieB
Horses for courses as I've read them all too and only really rated the second. I only read it at all as DH said I had to to be able to know why everyone was talking about it. Anyway it wasn't what I expected, in a good way, much more story than I imagined. Not really my cup of tea but I found that after reading one you had to read number two as it was left mid story. Two was really good I enjoyed it and three was better than one but not as gripping as two. See so clearly everyone has different views. Definately a good holiday read
Lavenders_Blue
I agree, it's a good holiday read, but hardly great literature. Intruigued by Fifty Sheds I don't do Twitter, so will I still be able to find it? Fifty Shades of Gravy definitely sounds up my street! Cheeky Chooky
I've been laughing at the 50 Sheds twitter page for a few months, and I don't even do twitter. It's hilarious and well timed. ...and some of the quotes on there are what's in his book Oh, I haven't read the real one either and don't intend to. I checked out the 'Gravy' Reviews and it didn't appeal to me really so I'm glad I got the 'Sheds'
craftyhunnypie
I'm another who hasn't read it & I also don't intend too. Think I'd find it boring & I'd be rolling my eyes all the time. Now fifty sheds sounds more like it. Emma.x
