Luvachicken
After looking to see what people say to their chickens in the morning, someone said wouldn't it be a good idea to see what we wear. So here goes..........I don't normally put pics of myself but thought just this once. This is me in my usual outfit of dressing gown and croc slippers. Not usually hoisted up though, the snow was much deeper than I thought. This was taken in 2010 and my daughter thought she'd snap me. It was freezing that day and the snow filled up my slippers, and then it snowed more again overnight. Deep snow for Fleet.
charly1979
Glad its not just me who is out in the morning in my pj's Not so long ago I did dash out in my onsie with my jumper on back to front luckilly it was so early Im hoping non of the neighbours saw such a horrifc sight my reason for the mad dash was due to Marilyn and Connie having a very noisy argument over laying an egg !! Would also like to add you look so much better than I do !
Chortle Chook
luvachicken that's brilliant I love the colour of your dressing gown and it would go perfectly with my pink chicken items (gloves included) but you don't half look cold Hope you had porridge afterwards and did not give it all to the chickens. I'm normally in my jeans, coat and clogs these days but on weekends a dressing gown clad bum can be seen sticking out of the hen coop. I would murder anyone who took a photo of me like that so nothing to put on here
LolaLayla
When I first got the girls I used to get dressed to let them out. Now I put on the oversized (it was a bargain price) tartan dressing gown and ancient seibel clogs. Thankfully not many folks can see into our garden
suebee
Wow luvachicken! ... You look so trendy, with your matching chook house in the background! My morning appearances don't bear thinking about, never mind photographing! i look like a mish mash of Onslow & Daisy, with a bit of Steptoe thrown in, when I put me chicken coat on over me dressing gown (with the safety pin to do it up, since the zip broke. )
counturchickens
Ah ha, very similar to my own morning look!
mimi5
Ha ha, just my kind of morning chicken keeping out fit!!! Although with all the rain, I have a waterproof over my dressing gown! My wellie bobs have sprung a leak and so have had to buy another pair!!! Wet feet from the inside is just not on!!!! Og the things we do for the love of over chickens!! Like me poo picking the run (after a 10hr day at work) with a torch!!! But at least it's lovely and dry now and I'm not worrying about them all day at work anymore!! My neighbour says he loves hearing me chatting to my chickens!! Must keep him entertained listening to my nonsense!! Not grumbling as both of my neighbours either side said it was ok for me to get Mr Monty!!!

Cheeky Chooky
Fab photo I go outside in my nightie, grey fluffy dressing gown with pink roses on it and pink croc type shoes Never bother with a coat unless it's raining I tend to take all the photos in this house so luckily there isn't any photographic evidence
jackian
I would put a photo up if I had one but my OH is later getting up than me and lovely as he is ,morning is not the best time to talk to him let alone ask him to take a photo before rushing off to work. Luvachicken I thought your photo was great, I was more interested in what you look like .."Oh that is Luvachicken " Nice to put a face to a chicken owner. You were younger than I thought you would be ,being an oldie I think of everyone as getting on a bit:lol:
redcharlie43
Great photo! I was just looking at my mat at the back door and I have 4 pairs of boots and shoes of varying heights depending on the mud and weather. Most of the time I look like little lord fauntleroy because i walk around the house with my trousers or PJ's tucked into my socks so I can pop out to the garden when i need to! I was born in 1969 Plus the photo is 2 years old so you need to add on a bit of ageing I loved everybody's comments, they gave me a nice end to the day. mimi5
Luvachicken......1969 a vintage year!!!! I was also born in the year!!! With my wild curly hair I'd give anyone BUT the chickens a fright at that time in the morning, before I've tamed it!!! Although, I do worry one of my teenagers will film my antics chasing pekins round the garden(like on sat when Monty and Penny were NOT going in to the run because I'd filled it with scarey wood chip!).....and it will end up on "you tube"
Luvachicken
Hubby just told me that my photo could end up anywhere now ooops Mimi5, all the best things happened in 1969 - there's us for a start , man on the moon, concorde, and so many other things that I can't remember at this time of night. ionian1
I think your picture usage on the internet is rather safe, but there are some strange people out there! Just a warning that everything, and I mean everything, you put on the internet stays there, even if you delete it from your posting, here, facebook etc., it is still out there. Hayleybug
on weekday mornings I am to be found with a suit on under wellies and an old decorating fleece, with a waterproof on top if its raining (also remembering to put my hair up in a bobble to prevent any stray aubiose/poop hair decorations). weekday evenings im usually in the same or change into some 'comfies' consisting of joggers and jumper as the under-layer. weekends its pretty much the same as everyone above, jammies with dressing down on top, wellies and fleece over if chilly. something tells me i may need to add a few layers to this outfit over the next few days! i would post a pic but also have an OH who isnt a morning person, so unfortunately (or fortunately) the pic doesnt exist
Alis girls
Was off today so instead of my nurses uniform and hoodie it was a T shirt nightie, sons hoodie and fitflops and yes it was chilly.
