SOMEONES TAKEN BEAUTY. IF COULDNT HAVE BEEN A FOX ETC AS SOMEONES OPENED, THEN LOCKED UP THE RUN. I AM SO UPSET. IVE BEEN CRYING FOR HOURS. I hope she turns up! thanks martin, the police wont be bothered, in november a drug addict with a knife was trying to break in through my kitchen [ we live in a gorgeous village too] and we had to call 999 3 times, it took them 1 hr to get to us. the drug addict was then lying in the middle of the road on his front fighting with the stones. they didnt even arrest him. Or it could be someone opportune who has done it as they've been garden hopping in which case they may well have dropped her once they were out of the garden. Have a good look in the morning and check all your neighbours just in case. I really hope she turns up safe and well, what is the mentality of these people? Also check with any local animal rescue centres and also the police in case she gets handed in - you're right the police probably won't be able to do much altho it would be worth telling your local beat officer if you have one.
