What about Andy being booted off. Have just watched the repeat.

 

I didn't rate Beverley's performance much...but at last she didn't blubber all over the place. Andy was too sensitive to have hacked it in showbiz.

 

I'm warming to Leon...but he really needs to learn to dance. His movements are truly awful.

 

I don't get this particular Alisha. Can't sing, can't dance, no personality. Others must think otherwise as she keeps being voted back in.

 

Can't abide Same Difference. :?

Can't stand Same Difference either. They make me want to throw things at the TV - can't bear happy happy pop like that! I didn't think much of Beverley's performance this time. That song just shouldn't be belted out like you're a market seller! I like Leon too but I do wish they'd let him sit down to do a song rather than try to dance. Andy just wasn't good this week and was the right one to go.

In a strange way I actually like same difference!! :roll: I know they are so "holiday camp" and dont have a chance of winning, but they actually make me SMILE :D:D

 

Leon has a great voice but danni doesnt pick the right songs - he has a lovely smile too!

 

Im beginning to go off Nikki, dont know why - seems to me she knows she is good and her and beverley seem to be competing.

 

I've warmed to Rhydian too....he delivers a performance every week.

Also liked Hope's performance! Like Alisha too. Beverley is usually good, but I don't think she is a winner!

Andy was absolute garbage, never liked him. DOn't think Leon is much cop either & Same Difference are like a couple of dancing Waltons! I mean that jerkin & her barbie doll dress. She is too noddy & smiley! But I suppose they appeal to the teeny boppers out there.

Thought Rhydian was great as usual.

Leon was awful as usual.

Beverly was bad this week and i really didn't like Niki, she turned to the camera at one point and sang "i am afraid" with a great big smile on her face. She doesn't sell me the song at all.

 

Same Difference were excellent. Whilst i wouldn't choose to listen to them, they were extremely professional and looked like they'd been on that stage for years. My 8 year old loves them and that's their audience. Simon is very astute to target this age grou[ wwhereas Louis is completely out of touch.

 

I've also had enough of Louis being so absolutley rude and bad-mannered.

I've just watched Saturdays x-factor, after being away over the weekend, and I can honestly say that I think Rhydian was fantastic - he really can SING, unlike acts in the past that have come on and been able to sing a bit, put on a bit of a show, and put a wee smile on someones face. He has the lot - amazing voice, ability to sell a song, whether it be putting on a show, or standing as one guy on a stage, singing from the heart, and he certainly seems to put a smile on more than a couple of peoples faces. I think he's fantastic. :D:D:D

He still freaks me out in the looks dept, but the boy can sing and he stands out amid such a mediocre crew.

 

Very poor series this time....for me anyway.

 

I learned yesterday that Nikki had a recording contract in the '80's when she was in her teens, but it reached about 400 in the charts.

His looks really freak me out.

 

Loved the performance....and his true character I beginning to emerge. He's amusing and in an odd sort of way, rather modest.

 

He really needs to rethink that hair colour....is does nothing at all for him and clashes with his complexion.

 

Same difference are awful. Very odd behaviour for siblings.

This weeks programme is in total chaos, after they changed the theme on Sunday from 'Motown' to 'Love songs'. Simon Cowell has twice changed Rhydians song, after Rhydians original choice ('Bridge Over Troubled Water') was deemed unsuitable. So much for Danni being his mentor, eh? :roll::roll:

What the heck is wrong the the great british public :shock:

 

One of the best singers is out not even making it into the top 5 because she got the lowest number of votes :evil::evil::evil:

 

Why do people vote only for the ones the judges are nasty to and not the ones with real talent :evil::evil::evil:

 

I know from reading the strictly thread that it is going on there as well :roll:

I agree....what a waste of time Hope are. Beverley isn't the best singer in the world but she can knock spots off that bunch of talentless slappers any day.

 

Hope's number last night was not a group effort. Phoebe did all the work....and she's not that great. The rest of them are very poor.....they wouldn't even make it at a holiday camp.

 

Same Difference make me cringe.

 

Rhyddian was superb. And so likable now. Why on earth did they encourage him to be so vile in the early shows.

 

The boy can sing.

I thought Hope should have gone out this week.However, I think they did not want 2 'divas' in the final, which makes me feel it was rigged.

 

I think that Beverley (and Nikki for that matter) does not have the right 'look' to be the X Factor winner. Which is ridiculous I know but that's how it is these days. I also wonder whether Rhydian will not win for the same reason ie not quite the right profile (or looks). He will have a career anyway so to me it hardly matters but it probably does to him.

 

Dare I say it - it was a man, then a girl, so maybe it will be a band that wins this time (ie Hope).

The x-factor forums were abuzz with the news that Saturday nights show would go to a 'deadlock' before the final act had sung on Saturday night, in fact, I got an email from someone who works on a newspaper, telling me that news, confirming the news fairly early on in the evening, around 5pm, I think. :?:?:? Simon Cowell is allegedly told the results of the public vote while the bottom two are singing, I'm not sure if that news is shared with the rest of the judges or not.

 

Still, the lovely Rhydian is still in, and now they are down to the final five, I am told that they will all be singing two songs each next week - for Rhydian, one 'camp', one serious.
