Cinnamon
I was furious when Rhydian got through to the final of X Factor, as I thought he was a vile & egotistical pain in the you know what. I couldn't see why Danni put him through at all. But I have really enjoyed his performances over the last 3 weeks, & tonight found myself hoping he didn't go out as I really look forward to seeing what he has to offer every week. In fact,he is the highlight of the show. I think he may just win
Egluntyne
He gives me the creeps. What about Emily Made a nonsense of the "please don't send me home because I'll be bullied at school" routine somewhat.
Mrs Frugal
Who was it who didn't get through this week because we missed the results please?
One Man Banned
I dont normally watch the X-Factor but we were at a friends last night and a break from the party was called for them to watch the results It was a tense final line up toward the end of the show when TWO of Simon Cowells group were in the singoff - FutureProof and Hope. The judges comments were kind and while some based their choice on the evenings performance Sharon and Louis voted to keep Hope in the competition. Danni voted on the performance and progress made in the competition and voted for FutureProof. The crucial deciding vote was left to Simon and he based his decision on the group most likely to sell records and voted for HOPE. FutureProof are OUT of the competition - mind you I thought they had a really rubbish song for a group to perform A xx
Mrs Frugal
Thanks Andrew. I didn't like Futureproof's performance either. Hope were much better . I can tell LSH the results now .
Cinnamon
I just love & adore the Big Band episode - its always my favourite as I love that era of music. Futureproofs song is a great one,but not good for a group to perform - they should have done something Sinatra instaed
Couperman
Rhydian? thats an unusual name. It's sounds like it could be a planet in the same system an Naboo! Sorry being silly again. Kev.
craftyhunnypie
I adore Rhydian! He is extremely unusual & unusual is GOOD! But I just wish he would smile more & stop looking so much like a thunderbirds puppet or shop mannequin! Don't like any of the groups, like Nikki, Alisha & Beverley as well as my favourite....Rhydian! Loved the coat!!!! Emma.x
susanbb
Even if he doesn't eventually win the show, I'm sure he'll be snapped up. Mind you I think they're trying to give the impression that he's as "mad as a bag of cats" which is fine....I can relate to that I also loved the coat 11YO likes "Same Difference"
Guest
I LOVE Rhydian now! He seems to have completely lost all his arrogance, and is putting in great performances every week. Now if they could just get him to dye his hair a tad darker, he would be almost perfect....
craftyhunnypie
He reminds us of Falco!!! We can just imagine him doing rock me Amadeus! Emma.x
Helly Welly
Abi, aged 8, also loves Smae difference, i think that the tweenie market is their target audience really. Simon seems to really understand that whereas Louis has no idea. I can't stand Louis, he is vile and never sounds like he knows what he's talking about. Cinnamon
He reminds us of Falco!!! We can just imagine him doing rock me Amadeus! Emma.x I want to hear him sing Queens 'somebody to love' - I bet he would do a great job on that! I am with you on Louis Helly Welly - what a fool the man is. I have zero respect for him. He just seems so weak willed & silly
craftyhunnypie
Ooo yes - he'd do a fabulous version of Queen Cinnamon! Oh I detest Louis! I thought he was so ignorant butting in on Simon when Simon was dishing out his opinions after ??? had performed! Such a little weed. Oh & has he recently had a hair transplant as he suddenly has more hair? Emma.x

chelsea
Dont like Rhdyian but i LOVED his sequin suit!! and he does make me laugh. I also strangely like Same Difference....with all the misery and grusome stuff going on around the world - those 2 kids put a smile on my face and im glad the kiddies like them. Thought leon and beverley were fantastic...Bev stole the show - I really like that song.
Rhapsody
I am also warming to the Rydler (classic!) does anyone know where he is from? His accent confounds me. I too would love to hear him sing some Queen, he is this year's Chico but can sing..........

Christian
He does have an amazing voice, but I can't look at him. He creeps me out! So far, watching the rerun, I love Nikki. The Chicago number was fantastic!!!! Can't believe Simon slated it!

Cinnamon
Ooooo - I wish I hadn't read that .......I like the suprise of who is singing what I bey Rhydian still makes a show out of that song
Louise
What is the theme It will be interesting to see what the iterpretation of I don't feel like dancing is as last year a group did it and it was absolutely appalling Mind you it was in the charts as well which didn't help
Guest
Sorry Sarah - I won't do it again! Rhydian is quoted as saying that he want this weeks song to be 'back to basics'. He's not entirelly happy with the way he was being pushed as this years 'Chico' and wants to do a song this week to show off his voice, rather than a 'show'. Cinnamon
Sorry Sarah - I won't do it again! S'ok, as I am over 40 now I will have forgotten by Saturday anyhow
CatsCube
Im the same, I didnt like Rhydian to start with but have to confess he is an amazing singer and has been unfairly portrade in the opening shows, the thing is, he is obviously an intelliegent and quite an intense guy, and this makes him come across as arrogent. In this country we dont like smart confident people, we always find them crafty and untrustworthy, we like the idiots who cant talk properly, (just look at the histroy of big brother winners and popular contestants. We always want the underdog, and if someone is confident in our eyes it makes them arrogant.
