Mrs Frugal
You don't buy a present. You make something . The participants names go into a hat and a partner is selected for you to make something for. From what I've seen of the gifts given, a lot of hard work went into making them all. They all look lovely. The same forum do a Christmas decoration swap too where you make a decoration to send to another participant.

Jules.
Ethan really likes the book he got "Mama hen & her baby chicks" by Beck Ward. The book is shaped like a hen, clucks & lays 3 eggs
ubereglu
I bet you won't be a big fan of that book soon though Jules, (with all the loud clucking coming from it all year round!!!)
Jules.
Liz the book is actually quite quiet. You have to hold it close to hear the clucks!

Cate in NZ
I got a mug from my darling daughter. It had a gorgeous looking cockerel on it, and is big enough to hold my morning cup of tea (I need a generous cuppa to get me moving these cold mornings ). Helly Welly
I got a soft toy cockerel from Habitat which crows when you press it and the most gorgeous cockerel and hen ornaments form OH. They are really tactile, i've named them Chanticleer and Pertelote. Oh and a chicken stamp which i may use as the image for my next tattoo!
