Tessa the Duchess
I am fed up watching weather reporters standing on the Met Office roof, all bundled up like eskimos, oops sorry not very pc, I mean innuits saying 'watch out folks it's going to snow soon honest!' It doesn't look a bit like it's going to snow the sky is pale blue, not a snow cloud in sight 'Tis very cold though brrrr. Tessa

BeckyBoo
Well I'm finally glad we had the severe weather warning, I came out of Sainsburys about an hour ago to find it absolutely, completely, hugely, chucking it down with . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .RAIN It did turn to snow to be fair, for about half an hour, which obviously failed to settle due to the amount of RAIN we had had. So, I'm glad I packed my warm blanket, hot flask, torch, emergency supplies as advised by the Met office, my five minute journey to and from Sainsburys felt much safer. GRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrr, I want snow like up in Scotland and I want it NOW (joins in stamping!) Mrs Bertie
Guest
The snow is now flying horizontally past my livingroom window, and chookiehubbie isn't home yet - you don't really want snow like this, honest.
Ain't Nobody Here
Hope he gets home safely. Snow is lovely - but only when you and yours don't have to go anywhere .
Egluntyne
I must admit to being very relieved when youngest son walked in 20 mins ago, having driven back from Rotherham.

Guest
none here either, it's been a dull, cold but dry day so the girls have been out most of the afternoon Got some reduced (in price not calories sadly!) clotted cream yesterday so I've just made some scones. Will use my Harrods jam (Christmas pressie) and have a little afternoon tea now The girls are in bed, we're warm inside, so it can snow all it likes now
