feemcg
It's snowing here, but falling on very wet ground. OH is at Abington and says it's falling heavy and I've checked the webcam and it's lying thick in the Borders. Louise and Shona getting it again! Popcorn
No snow in Leicester, but we've having our fair share of rain. Pretty miserable really. I've given up trying to stay dry. Got wet twice this morning going to and from toddler group. I look like Worzel Gummage! The garden is sinking in mud and water. The hens are nice and dry though, and look quite cosy in their aubiose filled run! (we've put extra in and their heads are nearly touching the top of the run!) Keep warn girls, and fingers crossed you can open your front door tomorrow Louise!
Egluntyne
Half an hour ago it was raining so hard that water was cascading down my drive.....just like that awful day in June. Now the clouds have parted and we have blue sky and sunshine. Am going to let the girls out in a mo.
Guest
No snow here - but it is absolutely pouring with rain. I assume the hills have snow, as I can't see them at the moment, but so far, nothing here.
Louise
Parts of the A7 and A68 are now closed i might be sleeping here tonight
Guest
Really Louise?! I think because we are right on the coast, it makes a huge difference to the amount of snow we get. Have just had a call from a friend about 10 miles west, and she has thick snow falling just now. Still chucking it with rain here though!! Guest
Just went onto Traffic Scotland, and the A68 looks like a nightmare. I can't see if the snow gates are shut, but it looks awful. The Soutra camera is off at the moment.

Seems so Darn Sarf it is tipping down with rain, the area in my garden which used to be lawn, then changed to a mud pit, is now a lake The chooks have been out for a couple of hours now and seem completely impervious to how soaking wet they are Tessa
