Christian
I had all five of mine lined up against the fence with wings outstretched, soaking up the sun. By the time I had rushed in to get the camera, they were all walking about and looking at me as if to say 'what'?? I'm sure they do it on purpose Really frosty again today. Minus 2 when I got up. lovely day forecast again.
Cinnamon
Its a gorgeous morning here too - all white & crisp but sunny too. The sort of weather I could get used to

Guest
It's a real pea-souper here - can't see past the end of the garden, as was like that yesterday as well....
The Dogmother
Thick, thick fog in London this morning, but beautifully sparkly and sunny here, with a thick frost too. We had 15 degrees here yesterday and I was cleaning out the chooks in a t shirt!
Ain't Nobody Here
Is that a Spring thing particularly in budgies? Are you suggesting we should be keeping an eye on other members of our family . Peasouper here too:
chickencam
Gorgeous here again today we had our first open big daffodil on saturday and lots of tiny ones but i seem to have lost my snowdrops under all the manute that gor put on the garden last year
Snowy
Went swimming first thing - drove out in a pea souper, -1 degrees. Came home in glorious sunshine, sun roof open on the car, 10 degrees! What a difference an hour makes!
Lesley
Went swimming first thing - drove out in a pea souper, -1 degrees. Came home in glorious sunshine, sun roof open on the car, 10 degrees! What a difference an hour makes! Same here Snowy - I went to the gym with the car heater on and came back an hour later with aircon on
chocchick
I had all five of mine lined up against the fence with wings outstretched, soaking up the sun. By the time I had rushed in to get the camera, they were all walking about and looking at me as if to say 'what'?? I'm sure they do it on purpose I felt so priviledged I could shuffle carefully round and sit down without them scattering on Sunday. If I'd got my camera.... Lovely snowdrops. I was just intreged how a non-native bird like a budgie tht was kept indoors would be affected by Spring. I keep going from an iced up car/glug to glorious sunshine. I went to the gym too Lesley (after the ice had defrosted) and came back with my windows open for the first time this year.
Treekeeper
lots of snowdrops out, the local park is a sea of crocus all naturalised in the grass looks lovely, and down the road one guy has about twenty bunches of daffodils planted in the lee of his wall in full flower! ali-s
Glorious here too after a chilly, frosty start Crocus came into flower today and two snowdrops as well. Daffs have just about poked their noses through the soil. 5.25pm and it is still light , the girls are still pottering about the run. I can't wait until the clocks change and we get some serious daylight hours
chickencam
We have 2 completely different climates around our house today. Spring at the front which is south facing and winter in the back - where the girls live which is north facing and so cold still. Daffodils in the 'spring' garden
The Dogmother
My garden is the same Liz - the pots on the patio are still frozen and frosty, while the lawn is warm and balmy. I saw a butterfly in the garden at lunchtime - I think it was lost

craftyhunnypie
Well after doing all my holiday ironing & packing - I went & did some tidying of the flower bed & garden. The sun was very warm. The girls helped with a bit of weeding & natural fertilizer! I then enjoyed a glass of wine sat in my neighbours conservatory - it was soooo hot in there! Gorgeous! chocchick
I had a big chickeny clean out and cleaned the eglu and raked out all the old aubiose for new. I left to dry in the sun and got back to big muddy footprints. ABBIE I went riding today (have a few one-off lessons as presents) and it was so lovely and sunny. The Dogmother
We have the thickest freezing pea-souper ever here this morning. Apparently it is worse here, in town than it is in the villages! It's treacherous and has frozen on all the paths.
Ain't Nobody Here
Bit of a frost here and zero degrees but sunshine and lovely blue skies .
The Dogmother
It's just lifting now, and back to blue skies and sunshine. Lesley didn't get it and she's only 20 minutes away.

Christian
Minus 2 and a real pea souper this morning at 5.30 when I left for work. Managed to defrost the glugs with a jug of hot water before I left. The daffs and snowdrops look lovely though. The house sparrows are back building nests all over the outside of the house. Bless 'em!
