LisaP
Since bringing Pansy and Peony indoors a couple of times when the weather was atrocious, they've not missed a chance to hop in through the back door but this really took me by surprise. I had just emptied the tumble drier and popped upstairs with the load when my daughter called me to come back quickly and there, in the drier, was Peony We actually had nice weather yesterday, so had the back door open for a change and apparently as soon as I disappeared with the washing, Peony hopped in through the door and jumped straight into drum Although it does do a cooler cycle at the end, we were a bit worried about her feet, but after persuading her to come out of the machine with a corn cob, we checked her and she was fine - maybe she just wanted a bit of fluffing up LisaP
Tessa the Duchess
That is such a great photo She was probably attracted to the residual heat still inside. Tessa

Ain't Nobody Here
What a lovely photo . Was she hoping to have even fluffier knickers, do you think?
Abbey Road Girl
Such a gorgeous girl and so glad no damage done. Alas, be forewarned all hen keepers not to bung laundry into an open washer/drier door without checking if a chook has found a unique roosting place. As the saying goes, better safe than sorry. superjules
Ah how lovely! I'm ashamed to say that my washer-drier looks much more the worse for wear than your pristine machine! Any pics of the inside of mine would not be for public consumption, sometimes it shocks even me.
