My son had had a weird viral thing this week, headache, tummy upset, he has been a rather unattractive grey colour. He was really annoyed because he wanted to manage a full attendance term, he tried but finally gave in yesterday and he looks much the better for it today, went off to school nearly smiling

Well...things have gone from bad to worse. I have now got a chest infection.

 

I am feeling very sorry for myself. I don't generally "do" ill.

 

I had to go to the GP cooperative thingummy at the Hallamshire this morning.

 

My temperature was 39.8 degrees C and I was seeing pink elephants, but could I get a doctor to come out?

 

Could I 'eckerslike.

 

Anyroadup I've got some antibiotics so should be OK in a day or so.

 

I know compared to what ANH and Poet are having to contend with at the mo it is neither here nor there....but I feel rotten so I hope ypu will forgive me a tiny moan.

So sorry you are feeling rotten...especially if your'e getting the same weather as us at the mo. Our temp is 28 and lovely.Just about to go for a walk in the woods.

Give the antibiotics 24 hrs and I bet youll be almost back to normal...just take it easy while you have the excuse! Take care x

Can you catch bugs over the internet? I have a sore throat, it hurts when I swallow, my glands are a bit swollen and I feel grotty.

hope you feel better soon, chest infections vary in horribleness (you'll know that being an ex nurse) and they can be really bad. In fact, as you know, pneumonia is just a chest infection by another name!
