4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Well I love this weather - it really does help when you have fractious children!

Our day so far:

Up at 6am, play with trains before breakfast

8am After breakfast play in paddling pool until 10am

10am - 2pm church followed by lunch at church, throughout which run around around hall playing football with friends

2pm Into the garden at home, roll of wallpaper spread out on the lawn, paint tray full of paint, strip off and do body painting (as in cover body with paint and roll on wallpaper )

4pm Another dunk in the paddling pool to wash off the paint

5pm wrap up in towels and go to lie down on Mum's bed to watch CBeebies for a while

5.30 .... erm, what happened here? ...

They've just woken up!! Still grumpy though, so it's quick supper, bath (they didn't get all the paint off in the pool ) and back to bed before they realise what's happening

Yes, good luck getting them back to bed. Mine tend to get a second wind if they wake up, I daren't let any of them sleep or nap after about 1.30 (it's only smallest boy who occasionally has a sleep anyway). I bet there's scenes like that all over the country, fantastic, it's SO great to just watch the kids outside all day long having fun. Mine are all tired out too, but in true Bertie fashion, fighting it to the last minute!
