I'm also 44 - my daughter will be 21 in October, how that happened I don't know! (Well I do really but we won't go into that here.....) :wink: I am always the youngest of all her friends mums.

 

Unfortunately with my youngest who is 10, I am one of the oldest but I don't care - I am definitely 24 in my head.

 

When I'm climbing in through the door of the cube run I'm sure I age to about 96 :shock:

When my son turned 30 this year I thought crikey that must mean Im cracking on a bit. Daughter is 25 this september which made me double take.

 

Im sure I was only 28 last week but Im actually 52!

 

Maybe your 50s are the new 30s as I definately dont feel old, I can still keep up with the younger ones. I can definatley get out of bed early unlike my two!

 

But maybe thats the chickens giving me a helping hand.

Next birthday I'll be closer to 50 than 40 (how did that happen without me noticing? :shock: ).

 

Me too! :shock: What a thought! Still with a 6 and a 10 year old, plus my little zoo to keep me young and bouncy... anyway i will be dragged into old age kicking and screaming. i will be an immature old lady... and wearing purple already (and pink, lime green, yellow, orange, turquoise etc... though not all at the same time!) :twisted::wink:

Me too! :lol: My head says "Go for it!" and my knees say "In a minute".

 

I celebrated my 53rd birthday last month, sootem, so don't give it another thought. :)

I'm 50 but my mental age is about 30, body tells me I'm nearer 70! OH is a toyboy 6 years younger than me - he looks older than 44 and my sister in law calls me Peter Pan - I say it is the fat that smooths out the wrinkles (which are on the increase)!

No grandchildren yet but son's girlfriend has already sorted names for her children! :shock: :shock: :shock:

I think it is a great forum to have such a spread of ages, Christian quite often looks after us olduns (much appreciated), and I'm relatively new here.

Kaylis - wait till the children get into their teens - very stressful and just when you think you have them sussed, there is always something new - no wonder we all go grey around this age! :wink:

dont say that- when im your age i will have a 31 year old!!!!!!!! :shock::shock::shock: im sure i will be white by then lol
